Sadly summer is winding up as we creep closer to Labor Day, but we have a fun packed month of August around Pine River Stables this month and beautiful fall colors rolling in next month.
Sun Aug 18th – Blue Water Pleasure Horse Show 9am-5pm? @ Outdoor Arena
Come on out on Aug 18th for this open pleasure horse show. This is a great event to introduce your new horse to the pleasure horse world or even a great day for the family to come out and watch the events. The show typically consist of light horses of all colors (there are lots of buckskins and paints in this association though) competing in halter, showmanship, trail, english under saddle & western under saddle. Fri Aug 23rd- St. Clair County Farm Museum- Mounted Shooting Demo @ 6:30pm & Team Penning @ 8pm (Located at Goodells Park in Pit)
It is that time of year again for the St. Clair County Farm Museum’s 29th Annual Steam Show & Old Fashion Harvest Days: Aug 23-25th at Goodells Park. Friday Pine River Stables will be hosting a cowboy mounted shooting demo and a team penning for their Horse Power Day Events starting at 6:30pm. Please come out and join us. This is a wonderful family event where you can watch children of all ages compete in rodeo events. Come show your support to these future rodeo pros as they ride for prizes and glory.
